Turks Palm

18x36

Oil on stretched canvas

Available Direct from Artist, message me

I try to paint a palm tree every January. It reminds me of the last tropical adventure I was last on. Spring is coming! This palm was from Turks and Caicos 2023. I really enjoy painting palm trees because it feels like having a plant in my home, and I don't have to water it.

DHC-2 the classic pickup truck of the sky. In my late 20's, I went to flight school, I received my commercial pilot license, Melissa and I moved to Yellowknife and I became a bush pilot. I flew several aircraft types, some on floats, skis, and tundra wheels. This painting commemorates my flying days.

This Large painting is from my imagination. It literally feels like a campfire is burning in the room. Which is why I painted it, I thought somebody might like that.
