I see my art as a creative expression and desire for adventure and exploration. An exploration of moving paint on canvas, mark making, and describing light; and the exploration of my life as it unfolds as an artist making art. The act of adventure and exploration is how we expand our consciousness -our self awareness, collectively and individually. I have found; after an adventure we can think differently, we can see our path more clearly. Adventure acts like a compass pointing where to go next. When we reach to know ourselves better by going into the unknown, the better parts of us show up, and we learn who we are more and more. This is why we're here, this life is a game we are playing with ourselves, and we are here for one reason, to give our soul an expansive experience, of our own choosing. It is my hope my art embodies adventure and expansion, my chosen experience.
